تنگه چاهکوه: در 70 کيلومتری شهر قشم و در حوالی روستای چاهوی شرقی، در بخش غربی ساحل شمالی جزيره قشم دو دره عمود برهم با دیواره های عمودى بلند ديده مى‌ شوند. در کف يکى از دره ها که امتداد تقريباً شمالى جنوبى دارد حفره های کم‌ عمق و نيمه عميق چاه مانندی وجود دارد. جنس ديواره‌ها عمدتاً از ماسه‌ سنگ آهکى سست بوده و به‌دليل وجود ميان لايه‌هاى مارن قرمز، سيلت و آهک شاهد انحلال و فرسايش‌ هاى شديد در اين بخش ها هستيم به‌ نحوى که در تمامى طول ديواره دره حفره‌ های متعدد کوچک و بزرگ نمايان هستند. این دره که نمايشی از فرسايش سنگ های رسوبی است يکی از مهم ترين جاذبه های گردشگری جزيره قشم است. زیگورات چُغازَنبیل نیایشگاهی باستانی است در استان خوزستان، در فاصله 45 كيلومتری جنوب شهر شوش و در نزدیکی منطقه باستانی هفت تپه که در زمان عیلامی‌ها و در حدود ۱۲۵۰ پیش از میلاد ساخته شده‌است. در گذشته 52 متر ارتفاع داشته است واکنون 25 متر از آن باقی است) از بزرگترین زیگوراتهای جهان محسوب می شود. این نیایشگاه توسط اونتاش گال پادشاه بزرگ عیلام باستان برای ستایش ایزد اینشوشیناک، نگهبان شهر شوش، ساخته شده‌است. این بنا در حمله آشور بانیپال به همراه تمدن عیلامی نابود شد و پس از آن زیر خاک مدفون بود تا دوران معاصر توسط رومن گریشمن عیلام‌شناس فرانسوی خاکبرداری گردید. چغازنبیل جزو معدود بناهای ایرانی است که در فهرست آثار میراث جهانی یونسکو ثبت شده‌است. Chogha Zanbil is an ancient Elamite complex in the Khuzestan province of Iran. It is one of the few extant ziggurats outside of Mesopotamia. It lies approximately 25 kilometeres west Dezfoul, 45 kilometres south of Susa and 230 kilometres north of Abadan by way of Ahvaz, which is 120 kilometres away. It was built about 1250 BC by the king Untash-Napirisha, mainly to honor the great god Inshushinak. The building was destroyed with attack of Ashurbanipal and was buried until excavation was by Roman Ghirshman.
